Hi! I’m Jennifer Long, and I’m proud to call Hurricane, Utah home, just a short 30-minute drive from the stunning Zion National Park. I’m the mother of four wonderful grown children and a proud owner of a playful Labrador Retriever named Killer.
My love for Studio Art has been a constant throughout my life, and I pursued design studies at BYU before marrying my best friend, Ken, in 1993. We shared a deep love for nature, animals, and outdoor adventures—hiking, scuba diving, biking, and climbing.
From the start, Ken was my rock. Born hard of hearing, I could always count on Ken to be there for me, learning American Sign Language so we could communicate with ease. He stood by me during my battle with cancer, never wavering in his support.
Sadly, in 2021, we lost Ken to Covid-19. His passing has deeply impacted me, but it’s also inspired me to create something that honors his memory and the love we shared. I’ll always treasure our first date, when we watched the movie Hook and laughed as the Lost Boys teased each other by calling one another “codfish.” That playful nickname became a beloved part of our relationship, something we continued to use over the years whenever we did something silly or fun together.
Now, I’m excited to share my art with you, infusing each piece with the joy, love, and spirit of adventure Ken and I cherished. Thank you for supporting my journey. I look forward to creating something special just for you
